Dental Treatment
If tooth decay occurs and/or advances to the dental pulp, we proceed with tooth repair and/or root canal treatment.

Dental treatment involves the therapy of all tooth tissues. Damage to the enamel often does not result in pain and only requires aesthetic restoration of tooth tissue. However, when there is damage to the dentin or dental pulp, pain of varying intensity and characteristics occurs. Teeth with such symptoms require treatment.
Indirect and Direct Pulp Capping
When the dental pulp (nerve) is preserved, but caries has reached the dentin near the pulp and causes painful stimuli, the therapy involves applying medication to create a mechanical barrier and protect the pulp:
- Indirect pulp capping – the medication is placed close to the pulp, but without direct contact.
- Direct pulp capping – the medication is placed directly on the exposed pulp.
Endodontic Procedure
If the dental nerve (pulp) becomes diseased, the nerve must be removed, and the root canal space mechanically and chemically cleaned. In our clinic, we use modern machine-assisted root canal treatment methods:
- Painless and more comfortable procedure
- Shorter treatment duration
- Often completed in a single visit
- More efficient and precise cleaning and shaping of the canal
- Minimal complications
- Possibility of quality treatment of curved and narrow canals
Specific Conditions and Additional Therapeutic Procedures
There are special conditions that require additional techniques and more visits:
- Foreign body in the pulp system, inadequate canal filling
- Tooth with incomplete root growth (e.g., in children)
- Pulp infection that has spread to surrounding structures (multi-session therapy)
- Mortal amputation – when it is not possible to treat the canal, but it is important to preserve the tooth
Diagnostics
An accurate diagnosis is key to successful therapy. X-ray imaging is an indispensable aid in diagnosis, planning, and monitoring the success of treatment.
